Mr.Sparrow Sits In Corner

This is our little friend Mr. Sparrow.

He's one of many friends that 

we have here at Amelia Acres.

He comes around typically in the fall
and we don't get to see him as much.

When he comes over to visits,
he sit's in his corner and takes a bird nap. 

We try not to disturb him but our barking
is mightier than the bite.
We don't want to scare him away.
He actually came down from
another house we used to live at on 

the same street. It's great to have animals 

we can count on!
That's how we meet new friends. OK, let's let him sleep!

Petsitter

This week we have a visitor with us. 
Her name is Abby. 

There's all of us (4) and then one more added to the group....double trouble! Momma's babysitting for a few days so it should be interesting. We've been stealing her stuffed animals and Abby hasn't missed them...yet! =) Their owner's went camping and it's been like a big sleep over around here. We've been having a blast!

Business Trip

My husband is going out of town and my in-laws are going camping. It will be my four dogs as well as my in-laws. I'll be watching Abby. In case you didn't know I'm also a pet sitter. I enjoy animals. I assist Doggie Play Camp in Baton Rouge, LA. Guess what! Girls Rule the next few days so it's a Chick Flick movie night!Yes! =)

About Us

I've updated more information in the about us section. I hope that you will love the dog's personalities as I go through what makes them quirky, cuddly, cute, adorable and lovable. Right now Bella is laying on the floor near my chair. Bella is my sidekick but don't tell Jazz that! She's always around me. Jazz on the other hand would be jumping in the back of my chair then seeing if I have food for her to eat. She's all about food. Jack and Jazz are in their kennels. Jack is about the drool! Scooter is in Tori's room. He takes his time enjoying every moment with us since he's an older dog. I'd like to know more about your dog's as well. We value your comments. I'm home from my day at work and all my babies come and give me love with tons of kisses! One at a time!I know that they miss me when I'm not with them. I too miss them when I'm not with them. I don't have to have makeup on they love me for me. . . . Bella the model tells me I need MAKEUP! She always tries to dress me. =)

Bath Time 4 Bella

One of Bella's pet peeves is bath time. She doesn't like it at all. You can put treat to coax her into the tub but it doesn't always work. She peeps her head out of the tub and look shaken/trembling. Even after a treat.
Bath Time 4 Bella is not all what you think it would be at her small stature! I come out looking like I just took a shower not her! She's so sweet. She deal with bath time.

Dog Days of Summer

What are your dog's up to this summer? Mine, staying cool! It's been hot here in Louisiana. I don't know about everyone else but I could use a dip! I'd like to hear if you have any vacation plans going on. Here's a picture of us camping! We went to Fountaine Bleu in Mandeville, LA. We had the fan on us the whole time...yep were POSH! I hope you like them:

This was home away from home for a few days.

     We had a great time. The weather wasn't too hot.

The barbecue was the best! More food for us please!
